Service operator

Lumicode is operated by an Australian sole trader under ABN 55 833 644 944. References to Lumicode, we, us, or our in these terms refer to that operator.

Accounts and acceptable use

You must provide accurate account information, keep your login secure, and use Lumicode lawfully. You may not abuse generation services, bypass credit limits, interfere with the service, scrape private content, or use another person's education eligibility.

Credits and generated content

• Free accounts receive five one-time starter credits after email confirmation.
• Approved education accounts receive 50 credits that expire 30 days after approval.
• Pro accounts receive 50 credits after each successfully paid monthly invoice.
• Pro credits expire at the end of their billing period and do not roll over.

One credit is reserved when a lab-generation request is accepted, spent when generation succeeds, and returned when generation fails. Generated material may contain errors and should be checked before relying on it for assessment, teaching, or production software.

Pro subscription

Lumicode Pro costs USD $4.99 per month and renews automatically until canceled. Stripe processes payment. You can update payment details, view invoices, or cancel from the billing portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. Failed payments do not create a new monthly credit grant.

Education eligibility

The education trial is a one-time promotion for verified academic email addresses. We may hold suspicious or unrecognized domains for manual review, reject duplicate claims, and revoke credits obtained through misrepresentation.

Availability and account action

We may change or discontinue features, investigate fraud, suspend abusive accounts, or restrict paid credits during a refund or payment dispute review. Statutory consumer rights are not excluded. To close an account with an active subscription, cancel or resolve the subscription first.
